Project

My PhD thesis and current work focuses on understanding the role of stromal cells in the pathogenesis of renal dysplasia. Specifically, I am interested in defining the role of stromally expressed ß-catenin in normal kidney development and determining whether a stromal-specific dysregulation of ß-catenin contributes to the pathogenesis of renal dysplasia.
